The Morning

9.00 am
Up early on the morning of the big day. The day begins in our flat in East Greenwich. (Where time begins!). Here's a picture of the view from our sitting room. London is pretty famous for its cuisine, and you can just see Morley's fine poultry restaurant at the edge of the photo.


9.30 am
Fortifying foods are important for the long day ahead. I always like to start with a bowl of own-brand fake Shreddies. It sets the tone for the rest of the day.


Tattersdill favours a toast and conserve (Essex finest) dish.


Of course, it might be a special day, but we still have to get the hideous sins against nature with whom we live fed and watered. (Barry and Carnarvon both like toast too.)




10.00 am
Four cups of tea and a crying jag later, and its time to start the day!


Braced by breakfast, Will carefully considers his clothing options for the evening. It's important to get a good mix of seasonal colours, and with London Fashion Week currently happening not a stone's throw from tonight's venue, the pressure is on! Will examines his wardrobe for the possible options.


But the choice is just too overwhelming this early! It isn't easy being a working Mum! He heads to the shower:
